Corrections

We correct factual errors on this site as soon as we confirm them, and we record each material change here with its date. If you find a wrong date, score, venue or rule, tell us through the contact page with the page address and a source, and we will check it against the PCB, Cricinfo or a match report before changing anything.

Last checked 27 October 2026.

What counts as a correction?

A correction is a change to a fact, such as a date, venue, score, name, number or rule, that was wrong or unsupported when we published it. Spelling fixes, new data added after an announcement and layout changes are not logged here. When the PCB announces something we had marked as pending, such as a PSL 12 rule, the page simply updates, and its “Last checked” line shows the new date.

Several of these came from a second pass in which we compared our season pages with Cricinfo, CricTracker, Dawn and PCB match reports instead of relying on Wikipedia alone. Where a venue or date still cannot be confirmed, the page says so; examples are the first eliminator of PSL 1 and the eliminators of PSL 4.

How do we check a reported error?

We look for the PCB release or the official scorecard first, then for two independent reports that agree. If sources conflict we show the figure we trust and name the conflict on the page, as we did for Watson’s total. If we cannot settle it, we mark the item as unconfirmed and do not guess. Our full approach is set out in the methodology and data sources page and the editorial policy.

To report an error, use the contact page. Include the page, the line you think is wrong and a link to your source. We aim to review reports promptly, but we change a page only after we have verified the fix.
