Multan, runners-up for the third year in a row after 2022 and 2023, had won the league stage and the qualifier but lost the final. Islamabad became the first team to win three PSL titles. The on-field umpires were Chris Gaffaney and Richard Illingworth. Our source does not state the attendance.

Imad Wasim’s 5/23 is the only five-wicket haul among the nine finals from 2016 to 2024 that we have scorecards for. He also scored the unbeaten 19 that helped finish the chase, so he decided the match with both bat and ball. Naseem Shah went wicketless in his four overs, which cost 25 runs.

The season is on the PSL 9 page. The previous final is PSL 8 and the next is PSL 10; all winners are in the PSL winners table.
