The Pakistan Super League has been played in Pakistan and, in some seasons, the UAE. PSL 11 in 2026 was played only at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi, after the PCB cut a six-venue plan to two on 22 March 2026. The venues for PSL 12, which runs from 18 March to 2 May 2027, have not been officially named.

How was PSL 11 planned compared with how it was played?
The original PSL 11 schedule used six venues in six cities. On 22 March 2026 the PCB reduced this to Lahore and Karachi, citing national austerity and resource conservation measures, with 22 of the 44 matches in each city. Lahore staged Eliminator 1, Eliminator 2 and the final; Karachi staged the Qualifier.
| Venue | Matches in original plan | Matches as played |
|---|---|---|
| Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore | 15 | 22 |
| National Bank Cricket Arena, Karachi | 6 | 22 |
| Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium | 11 | 0 |
| Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad | 7 | 0 |
| Multan Cricket Stadium | 4 | 0 |
| Imran Khan Cricket Stadium, Peshawar | Not stated | 0 |
What do we know about the other PSL venues?
Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium opened in 1992 with an ODI between Pakistan and Sri Lanka on 19 January 1992. It is about 20 minutes from Islamabad and is listed as the home ground of Rawalpindiz. The original PSL 11 plan gave it 11 matches, including a Qualifier.
Multan Cricket Stadium opened in 2001 off Vehari Road and is the home of Multan Sultans. It hosted its first PSL match on 26 February 2020, three matches in 2020 and five in 2023. The original PSL 11 plan gave it four matches, all featuring Multan Sultans.
Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad and Imran Khan Cricket Stadium in Peshawar were due to host PSL matches for the first time in the original PSL 11 plan, but neither staged a match after the revision.
Which venues will host PSL 12?
The PCB has confirmed that PSL 12 starts on 18 March 2027 and ends on 2 May 2027, but has not named the venues. A report dated 2 August 2026 quotes PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi saying the next edition will have “multiple other venues”, which is a statement of plans and not a published list. See the PSL 12 page and the PSL schedule for updates.
