What was the setting?

Our source describes a heavy security operation. The PCB and the league bought bulletproof buses, teams flew in on the day of the match and left afterwards, and four of Quetta’s overseas players, including Kevin Pietersen, chose not to travel. Tickets sold out within an hour, and ticket revenue was reported as more than Rs 180 million. A closing ceremony with Pakistani artists was held before the match. The on-field umpires were Ranmore Martinesz and Ahsan Raza, with Shozab Raza as TV umpire and Roshan Mahanama as match referee.

The season is on the PSL 2 page. The previous final is PSL 1 (2016) and the next is PSL 3 (2018); all winners are listed on the PSL winners page.
